C.B. & Potts and the RAM International restaurants received 11 medals for their hand-crafted beers from Colorado, Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
C.B & Potts was awarded with gold medals for the Bohemian Pilsner, “Pilsner Noelle” and the Alt style, “Highwater Altbier” out of the Westminster, CO C.B. & Potts location.
Winner of the gold medal for the “Pilsner Noelle,” Dennis O’Harrow, head brewer at C.B. & Potts said he was “excited to have won at this prestigious event, I have been brewing for 10+ years and this is the first time I entered this event and feel very honoured that the judges found my beer worthy.”
Assistant brewer to Dennis O’Harrow, Ty Nash, won the gold medal for the “Highwater Altbier.” When asked about his experience at the NABA, Ty said, “Having only worked at C.B. & Potts for eight months, I was very excited to find that not only had my alt won a medal in my first competition with my first professional brew but had taken the gold for the style. I feel very privileged to have had the chance to brew this beer and owe a lot of credit to Dennis for guiding me from start to finish of this beer.”
The RAM Int’l was also awarded with gold medals for their "Big Horn Blonde" out of the Seattle, WA RAM, "Auntie Esthers Best Bitter" from the Tacoma, WA RAM, and the American-style India Pale Ale, "Taildragger IPA" out of the Boise, ID RAM location.
