C.B. & Potts Restaurant and Brewery Taps Popular Seasonal Beer
Spring has sprung at C.B. & Potts Restaurant and Brewery! Along with warmer temperatures and longer days, the arrival of spring is heralded by the return of the Goat-MAIBOCK. Debate continues as to the origins of the name "Bock" ... Was it after the town of Einbeck in Germany or a variation on the German word (and recognized symbol of the style) the Goat?
Regardless of the origin, the name has come to signify one of C.B. & Potts most popular seasonal selections. This lager is fermented cold and patiently aged (lagered) at near freezing temperatures to achieve a smooth and immensely satisfying profile. Brewed in the esteemed German Helles style, Kirk Lombardi, regional brewer for C.B. & Potts, describes his version of the brew as having a "sweet-bready malt character, golden in color, with a crisp, clean balanced finish."
Toast the arrival of spring with a Maibock small batch specialty brew now available on tap at your local C.B. & Potts Restaurant and Brewery!
